Welcome

I am Professor of Counselling Psychology at the University of Manchester, Visiting Professor of Counselling at York St John University, and a HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist.

Over the course of my career, I have worked across research, practice, education, supervision, and professional leadership. My interests include counselling psychology, psychotherapy, digital mental health, professional training, human connection, and the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Whether you have arrived here through my writing, teaching, publications, podcast, or professional activities, I hope you find something useful.
